Shenzhen, 19-21 June, 2015 - DJI proudly partnered with Maker Faire Shenzhen 2015, where over 100 exhibitors showcased the best of innovation and creativity from the arts, crafts, engineering and science and technology sectors in Shenzhen. The Faire gives exhibitors a chance to highlight the process of making things and displaying their amazing work.
Situated at a premium spot at the Faire, DJI’s exhibition booth attracted more than 15,000 people over the course of the 3-day event. Attendees got the chance to see some of DJI’s key technologies being demonstrated first-hand, including the Phantom 3 Advanced and Professional, the Inspire 1 and the new Matrice 100, all of which were well received.
DJI was pleased to be awarded the Best Exhibitor Award from the Maker Faire organization. The award was based on a number of criteria, including the sleek & stylish design of the booth, the excellent customer service provided by DJI staff members and the impressive range of quality products on display.
As well as winning the award, DJI forged growing relationships with a number of international companies and government agencies.
The event was attended by American student Joey Hudy, a 16-year-old gifted inventor and a well-known figure within the Maker community, who tried and tested DJI’s Phantom 3.
As part of a marketing campaign in the run up to and during Maker Faire Shenzhen 2015, DJI was visible across a variety of communication platforms, including ads on the Shenzhen metro system.
