No. There is no need to remove the propellers, but at the same time, avoid bending or crushing them when putting the aircraft into the storage case.

How do I brake the DJI Min 3 Pro drone in an emergency?

1. Go to “Safety“ and “Advanced Settings” in DJI Fly, and then set “Emergency Propeller Stop” to “Anytime”. Then during flight, keep pushing both control sticks to the inner or outer corners for 1.5s to stop the motors.
2. Go to “Safety” and ”Advanced Settings” in DJI Fly, and then set “Emergency Propeller Stop” to “Emergency Only”. Then during flight, when the flight controller determines that there is an error with the aircraft, keep pushing both control sticks to the inner or outer corners for 1.5s and the motors can stop.

Will the propulsion performance of the aircraft be affected if the propeller guards are mounted on DJI Mini 3 Pro?

The maximum flight speed will decrease, and the flight range will be limited to ensure flight safety.
If used with DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery, and the Payload mode is enabled, the maximum service ceiling above sea level is 1,500 m. If used with DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, the propeller guards are not recommended to be used, because the propulsion performance may be affected by the increased takeoff weight.

If the aircraft starts to follow the subject, but the distance between the aircraft and target is not in the range of abovementioned distance or altitude, the aircraft will automatically fly into the supporting range. Is Terrain Follow supported when DJI Mini 3 Pro is in ActiveTrack Mode?

Yes. But there is no switch or button for Terrain Follow. Terrain Follow allows the drone to fly in an area where there is an small incline in the terrain and keep a set distance from the ground by ascending or descending. For more details, please refer to the User Manual.

What status will DJI Mini 3 Pro be after switching its flight mode during flight?

1. When the flight mode is switched from S mode to N/C mode: In S mode, the aircraft speed is faster. In the current environment, the flight speed is higher than the maximum flight speed in N/C mode. If changing from S mode to N/C mode at this time, the aircraft will decelerate to the maximum speed required in N/C mode.
2. When the flight mode is switched from N/C mode to S mode: The aircraft will not brake and its flight speed will not decrease.

Note: Please do not remove the intelligent flight battery from the aircraft when updating the firmware of the battery. The firmware of the battery will be updated together with that of the aircraft.

Can I use DJI Assistant 2 to update the firmware of DJI Mini 3 Pro?

What app does DJI Mini 3 Pro work with? Where can I download it?

Yes. DJI Mini 3 Pro should be used with the DJI Fly app.

DJI Mini 3 Pro Sensor and Sensing Function Introduction

DJI Mini 3 Pro is equipped with forward, backward, and downward vision sensors, which are used for obstacle detection and avoidance.
The downward infrared sensing system is used for flight altitude measuring.

Can I turn off the vision obstacle avoidance function of DJI Mini 3 Pro?

First, set Obstacle Avoidance Action in DJI Fly. Three obstacle avoidance actions are: Bypass, Break, and Off.
Bypass: The aircraft will automatically change and plan a new flight path to bypass the obstacle if it detects an obstacle. If the obstacle cannot be bypassed, the aircraft will brake and hover in place.
Break: If sensing any obstacle in this mode, the aircraft will brake and hover in place.

How far will DJI Mini 3 Pro start to avoid an obstacle when the obstacle is detected?

There is no specific limit for the distance. It relates to the current flight status of the aircraft. For instance, the faster the aircraft is flying, the earlier it can avoid the obstacle.

Can I fly DJI Mini 3 Pro above water?

Please refer to DJI Mini 3 Pro Disclaimer and Safety Guidelines.
It is not recommended to fly an aircraft within 10 meters above water.

What does the DJI Mini 3 Pro downward vision positioning system consist of?

DJI Mini 3 Pro downward positioning system includes a downward vision system and an infrared sensing system.

Does DJI Mini 3 Pro support vision calibration?

When a prompt stating that the advanced calibration is required appears in DJI Fly, connect the aircraft to DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series), and then follow the instructions to calibrate the vision systems.

Please check whether propellers are broken, worn, misshapen, or corroded before each flight. If yes, replace them immediately.

Can the DJI Mini 3 Pro RC-N1 remote controller charge mobile devices?

For Android users, the DJI Mini 3 Pro RC-N1 remote controller charges the mobile device once it is connected by default, which cannot be disabled in DJI Fly. The working time of the remote controller is about 100 minutes.
For iOS users, there is a charging phone option in the DJI Fly app for iOS v1.4.8, which can be enabled or disabled.

What type of port is supported by the DJI Mini 3 Pro RC-N1 remote controller?

The port on the remote controller is Type-C port, and accessories are provided in the package, including RC Cable (USB Type-C Connector) x1, RC Cable (Lightning Connector) x1, and RC Cable (Micro-USB Connector) x1.

Are the control sticks of the DJI Mini 3 Pro series remote controller detachable?

Yes, and please note that the sticks storage slot is at the bottom of the RC-N1 remote controller while the sticks storage slot is at the back of DJI RC .

DJI Mini 3 Pro Series Remote Controller Antenna Type and Usage Notices

The remote controller uses omnidirectional antennas (One antenna is built-in on the top of the phone holder.). Please point the antennas at the aircraft during use.
Make sure to operate the aircraft in an open area. Tall metal structures, mountains, rocks, and forests may interfere with the aircraft's compass and GPS signals.
In order to prevent the remote controller from interfering with other wireless devices, be sure to turn off other wireless devices before using the remote controller.
Do not fly in the vicinity of a source of electromagnetic interference. Sources of electromagnetic interference include but are not limited to: Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage wires, high-voltage power transmission stations, mobile phone base stations, and television broadcast signal towers.

Does the DJI Mini 3 Pro series remote controller support QC protocol?

The RC-N1 remote controller does not support QC protocol.

How can I improve the signal receiving quality of the DJI Mini 3 Pro series remote controller?

a. It is recommended to fly in an open environment with less wireless interference.
b. Close other running programs in the background of the mobile device.
c. Pay attention to the direction of the antenna. Please adjust the plane of the antenna facing the position of the aircraft.
