Thai authorities allow pilots to fly drones in compliance with Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) regulations. The CAAT has issued a series of regulations for drone flight operations, and some highlights of these regulations are listed below.
Always fly below the CAAT’s altitude limit (90 m)
Do not fly in or near restricted areas, official facilities, or hospitals
Always check the CAAT website for updates and information before flying
Do not fly within 9 km of an airport
Always maintain visual contact with your drone
Do not fly within 30 m of people, buildings, or vehicles
