Product
Appearance: The Matrice version has a "For Matrice Series" mark on the body of the Mobile Station.

If no new firmware updates are run, the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station is compatible with the Agras MG series, Phantom 4 RTK, P4 Multispectral, whereas the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station For Matrice Series is compatible only with the Matrice 210 RTK V2.

If no new firmware updates are run, the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station can be used as a rover station and as a handheld RTK to set ground control points manually. Support is coming soon for using it as a base station. The Matrice version can currently be used as a rover station.
1. When upgrading the unifying firmware of the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station, you can choose the corresponding operation mode to make it compatible with Agras series, Phantom 4 RTK, P4 Multispectral, Matrice 210 RTK V2, and Matrice 300 RTK.

2. Users of the Matrice Series version can download the latest DJI Assistant 2 for Matrice on the Matrice 300 RTK download page to upgrade its firmware to the latest version. If you are unable to link your D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station For Matrice Series to Matrice Series aircrafts, please contact the DJI after-sales representatives for help.

3. Users of the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station can run the unifying firmware update via the aircraft’s operating app or DJI Assistant 2 after the firmware updates for the following products are complete.
Aras T16/T20: V 02.03.02xx and above
Phantom 4 RTK: V 02.02.05xx and above
Note: refer to the actual firmware release for what the xx stands for in the version number.

4. DJI will only produce regular D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Stations in the future, which will be compatible with Agras series, Phantom 4 RTK, P4 Multispetral, Matrice 210 RTK V2 and Matrice 300 RTK. You can run firmware updates for the Agras series and Phantom 4 RTK through their operating apps or DJI Assistant 2. However, it is recommended to upgrate Matrice series firmware through DJI Assistant 2.

5. How do I switch between different operation modes after running the unifying firmware update?
D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station supports 5 operation modes that work with different products. You can refer to the form below and choose the relevant operation mode.
1) Long press the mode button for 2 seconds to begin mode-switching. (the indicator light will change from green to yellow) 2) Short press the mode button to switch between different modes, the newly selected mode will be in effect 2 seconds after a selection is made. You can refer to the table below for more details. 3) If no action is taken after 2 seconds, the Mobile Station will remain in its current operation mode.

* Support coming soon
The D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station supports four satellite navigation systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BEIDOU. It is capable of receiving 11 signals: GPS L1, L2, L5; GLONASS L1, L2; Galileo E1, E5A, E5B, BEIDOU B1, B2, B3.
There are 2 main differences:

a. Physical differences: D-RTK is a module that includes 2 sets of RTK receivers, antennas, and radios. One receiver can be used as the base station while the other as the rover station to transmit differential data via radio. D-RTK 2 Mobile Station is an all-in-one product that integrates a high-precision receiver and transmission links, making it easy to set up and use.

b. Performance differences: D-RTK has two versions that receive GPS+BDS or GPS+ GLONASS signals depending on different regions and signal coverages. D-RTK 2 Mobile Station only has one version globally that supports four satellite navigation systems: GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, and Galileo, receiving 11 signals, which is more than the signals the D-RTK can receive. The new antennas ensure better signal reception and higher positioning accuracy.
Because the data links are different.
The Chinese version of the Mobile Station can only be used in Mainland China. Please follow the local laws and regulations when using other versions in other regions, specifically regarding support for 2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz transmissions.
Power Source
There are three power sources: 1. Internal battery WB37-4920mAh-7.6V 2. External battery (MG12000P) 3. AC power adapter
At least two hours. The battery can be charged through the external power port on the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, or removed and charged with the charger.
Yes. When not in use, please remove the battery. When powered off, the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station enters standby. If the battery is left in the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, it will stand by for 10 days and then power off automatically to protect the battery, after which the battery needs to be changed or recharged.
When the internal battery is fully charged, the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station will stay on for at least two hours. If an external power source is connected before the internal battery is drained, the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station will continue to function, otherwise it will shut down.
Using the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station
If there is a point with known location coordinates, simply place the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station exactly on that point then input the coorinates in the App. Make sure the difference in distance between the input and actual coordinates is less than 5 meters, or the input will not work.
The D-RTK 2 Mobile Station is equipped with a high-performance IMU to monitor the status of the device and send that information to the aircraft. If the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station is moved or toppled over, the aircraft will stop performing RTK functions and display the status of the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station in the remote controller app.
This can be done in the remote controller app, please see the user manual for more information.
Log in to DJI ASSISTANT 2 with your DJI account, connect the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station to the PC with a Type-C cable and run the firmware update.
